Hydra is from our D-litter. 
She represents so much of what we strive for in the Classic American Bulldog. She has the strength, athleticism, confidence, character and natural protective instinct that we value deeply in the classic type.

 

She is a powerful, capable working dog with a strong sense of territory and an impressive ability to do exactly what a true guardian dog is meant to do. Her sharpness is not something we see as a flaw it is part of what makes Hydra the exceptional dog she is.

 

For us, preserving the Classic American Bulldog also means respecting and appreciating these natural working qualities.

 

Hydra is a beautiful example of the type of bulldog. She is strong, athletic, functional and capable of doing the job she was bred to do. But she have some mental traits that we do not want to pass on to future generations. We believe it is important to be honest and responsible when choosing which dogs to breed. This mental issue is a red line we have seen in all of Argo's litters. That is why we have chosen not to continue with his lines in our breeding program.
 

But she is a fun sporting dog that loves bite games, long jump and WP :)
